This week I’ve been thinking about all the last minute things I need to be doing in the next couple of weeks for Christmas. Luckily for me it’s only the small things that you can’t do too far in advance

– I’ve applied  my organising habit to home as well as work so everything feels like it’s under control. It’s a nice feeling!
Yet when I look around, I can see people everywhere stressing about work and shopping at what should be a happy time of year.  Christmas seems to be starting earlier and earlier these days – shops were even reported to be putting out Christmas stock in September this year. Yet somehow, however early people start thinking about it, there seems to be a last minute rush and panic.
It’s amazing too how many highly effective and organised business people haven’t thought about holiday cover for their business over this period – they seem to have forgotten that their staff may want to take a week off. Then there’s another issue – their husband and wife won’t appreciate the phone ringing constantly when they’re at home with their own families. As I say time and time again, you never get this time with your kids back, so you need to be free to enjoy it.
This is where virtual assistance can really make a difference – from posting out your business Christmas cards before you miss last post to answering your calls while you’re at home watching a Christmas film with your family. Let us know if we can help you enjoy a more organised Christmas this year.
